Live from Dissection to Lecture Hall

Posted on June 2, 2022

This week we have had our first “Live Streaming Session” during Neuroanatomy lecture. Matthias Kirsch, Maximilian Lenz, and Yakup Gümüsalan (see picture; from left to right) demonstrated a brain and spinal cord from our dissection hall streamed directly to the lecture hall.

Our students had the chance to ask back questions. A nice conclusion of the initial general introduction lecture (anatomy of the central nervous system). It was very well perceived and overall a great success – despite some minor technical problems.

Stay tuned for more… Our mobile camera streaming setup will bring additional (pre-)clinical disciplines to our lectures. The Institute of Forensic Medicine is already on board.

Many thanks for the excellent technical support to Helmut Gerlach and Albrecht Tielsch.
