Welcome Reception for Prof. Dr. Alberto Catanese

Posted on 16 Apr at 8:57 am

On the occasion of his appointment to the W3 Professorship in Anatomy with a focus on Neuromodulation, we warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Alberto Catanese with a brief informal reception at the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology.

The gathering took place after the end of the official working day, allowing colleagues to come together in a relaxed setting to connect with our new faculty member.

Prof. Catanese brings to Freiburg extensive teaching experience in macroscopic and microscopic anatomy, as well as cutting-edge research on human neuronal models, neurodegeneration, and the modulation of synaptic function.

We are delighted to have him join our team and look forward to his contributions to research and education at the institute.
