On November 29, 2024, we said a heartfelt goodbye to Günter Frank as he retired after an extraordinary 40 years of service at the Institute.
Günter’s career began in the Department of Molecular Embryology, where he provided dedicated technical support and played a key role in the department’s success. In his later years, he worked at the interface of both departments of our Institute, contributing to collaboration and providing essential support wherever it was needed. His dedication, expertise, and friendly nature have left a lasting impression on all of us.
We are deeply grateful for everything Günter has done for the Institute. As he begins his well-earned retirement, we wish him happiness, good health, and plenty of time to enjoy this new phase of life.
