We are proud to announce that Amelie Eichler has received this year’s Young Talent Award of the Anatomical Society (Nachwuchspreis der Anatomischen Gesellschaft) for her outstanding research contributions and dedication to advancing the field of neuroanatomy.
Amelie’s research work, titled “Activity-dependent regulation of the structure and function of microglia in neural tissue” provides valuable insights into how these immune cells in the brain contribute to synaptic changes during repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation. Her work, presented at the 118th Congress of the Anatomical Society in Graz, has the potential to open new avenues for understanding brain function and neuroplasticity.
We are very proud of Amelie’s achievements and look forward to seeing the continued impact of her research!
